About us

We are a large primary school surrounded by fabulous grounds and a park very close to the city of Manchester. We have over 500 children including full time Nursery children. Our staff are a mixture of experienced and newer teachers and leaders working in close partnership with our amazing team of support staff. We have a great building which is just over 10 years old and still feels very new. Our children access their learning in a variety of ways and make use of the latest technologies; for example, we have over 350 Chromebooks across the school with every child from year 2 upwards having their own named Chromebook. This makes planning and delivering lessons easier for teachers and leads to effective learning for our children. We take staff development seriously with weekly opportunities for teachers and teaching assistants to receive up to the minute training. Many of our staff undertake additional training and the school supports them to do this. Our staff room is a relaxing environment with a range of facilities for staff to feel supported and to relax away from the hustle and bustle of class.
