The Role

Headteacher, you will:

  • Lead and support the implementation of the school development plan
  • Provide strategic leadership and clear vision for the school’s continued excellence
  • Sustain and further develop our Outstanding standards
  • Inspire, motivate and develop staff at all levels through effective line management, coaching, and professional development
  • Champion inclusive practice and innovative SEND provision
  • Ensure exceptional teaching, learning and assessment
  • Lead on safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
  • Work collaboratively with the governors, families and external partners
  • Manage resources effectively to secure long term sustainability


The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

  • Proven senior leadership experience in an inclusive setting
  • A strong track record of raising standards and improving outcomes
  • In depth knowledge of SEND legislation and inclusive practice
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Financial and organisational acumen
  • Resilience, integrity and compassion
  • A commitment to equality, diversity and safeguarding

NPQH (or equivalent) is desirable but not essential for the right candidate.
