Head of Business Development - Apprenticeships

Join our award-winning Apprenticeships team and help shape the future of skills across Greater Manchester and the North West. We're looking for a Head of Business Development to drive growth, build strong employer partnerships, and expand apprenticeship opportunities across the region.


Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and deliver a business development strategy to grow apprenticeship income and market share.

- Build and secure new employer partnerships across priority sectors.

Use labour-market insights to inform programme planning and growth.

- Maximise existing employer relationships to increase apprenticeship uptake.

- Champion and promote our award-winning apprenticeship offer.

- Identify and lead on tender and bid opportunities.


About You:

Proven experience in high level business development, sales, employer engagement in apprenticeships or education. Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills. Commercially minded, target-driven, and passionate about workforce development.
