Hours: 37 hours per week

Salary: NJC Scale 2 SCP3-4 £24,796 - £25,185 per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Fylde Council’s Fairhaven Lake and Gardens Team, to support the Visitor Centre Supervisor in the day to day running of the newly created Visitor Centre, an integral part of the leisure offer at this popular coastal location operated by Fylde Council.

Acting as a first point of contact for visitors and customers and assisting with stock, sales, banking and the wider leisure offering. The post holder will demonstrate and champion the Council's adopted core values.

About the role -The successful applicant will join the Fairhaven Lake and Gardens Team that seeks to create an enjoyable customer experience. Opening & closing the building, delivering fantastic customer service whist selling leisure tickets, retail sales, snacks and beverages and sharing knowledge of the park’s many attractions and rich history with visitors will be key to the post.

The ideal candidate will have an excellent approach to flexible working with a can-do attitude, be a problem solver and be able to work in a close-knit team environment. A knowledge and experience of cash handling and banking procedures, health and safety requirements would be advantageous.
