Are you keen to learn and eager to kickstart your career in Facilities Management? We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic Facilities Management Team as a Degree Level Apprentice Area Facilities Officer.

Position: Degree Level Apprentice Area Facilities Officer
Location: Bury Town Hall
Type: 37 hours per week

Grade - 6 (£25,989 per annum).


About Us: We are committed to providing safe, compliant and high-quality facilities management services across our large and varied estate. As an Area Facilities Officer Apprentice, you will have the chance to learn from experienced professionals and gain hands-on experience in various Facilities Management functions, as we support you to achieve the level 6 BSc (Hons) Facilities and Built Asset Management apprenticeship qualification.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support day to day facilities operations across multiple sites.
  • Assist with ensuring full compliance with health & safety and statutory building regulations.
  • Help to maintain and coordinate planned and reactive maintenance.
  • Assist with sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives.
  • Help with creating safe and productive environments.

Requirements:

  • A keen interest in Facilities Management and a desire to learn.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Have a level 4 qualification such as an HNC in Construction and the Built Environment (or equivalent).
  • You should have five GCSE’s at grade 4-9 or equivalent including English and Mathematics.
