We’re on the lookout for two Automation Developers to join our growing team of talented Developers and a Business Analyst working together to transform how we deliver services across the borough.

You’ll play a key role in building automation solutions that save time, increase efficiency, and improve the experience of staff and residents. If you’re passionate about new technologies, enjoy problemsolving, and thrive in a collaborative team, this is the role for you.

Outofhours work may occasionally be required but only in rare situations.

You’ll be involved in:

  • Designing, developing and maintaining automation solutions
  • Daily scrums and agile ceremonies
  • Showcasing your work at stakeholder demos
  • Improving processes through innovation and modern tools

About You

We’re looking for someone with experience in a developer role who’s eager to grow their skillset. Even if you're not familiar with all our tools, training will be provided.

You should have experience or understanding of:

  • Web / application development
  • Microsoft Power Automate (desirable, not essential)
  • Agile methodologies
  • MS SQL & database concepts
  • Multiple programming languages
  • Designing, testing and developing software
  • Technical documentation & process mapping
  • Integrating software components / thirdparty systems
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving
  • Cloud and onpremise application concepts
  • Strong attention to detail
