Join us at Stockport Council MJ Local Authority of the Year 2025 Your Role Stockport Council are recruiting a Project Manager Construction Lead to work within the Estate and Asset Management Team. We have a large programme of capital developments across the borough covering our Education, Leisure, Corporate and Commercial portfolio. As a Project Manager Construction Lead, you will lead on project delivery across a multitude of schemes from inception through to completion. You will work alongside an internal team of Architects, Engineers, Building Surveyors and Quantity Surveyors, as well as leading externally commissioned consultant teams. About You You will be a chartered project manager with a minimum of five years’ experience of leading on the delivery of construction projects within the UK, including managing multi-disciplinary teams, stakeholder engagement and have a comprehensive understanding of construction processes. You will have strong partnership skills and be able to develop strong relationships to ensure timely project delivery.
