The Governors of Boothstown Methodist Primary School are seeking to appoint a dedicated, dynamic and inspirational Deputy Headteacher to join our successful and thriving Church school. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious leader who is passionate about making a positive difference and committed to ‘doing all the good they can’ for our children, families and community.

Working in close partnership with the Headteacher and Governing Body, you will play a key strategic role in the leadership, management and continued development of our school.

  • Is committed to maintaining the strong, positive relationships between staff and pupils that make our school special.

  • Is dedicated to delivering rich, meaningful learning experiences and has a proven track record of raising attainment and supporting whole-child development across the primary phase.

  • Has experience of curriculum development and can support subject leaders to drive improvement effectively.
  • Is an outstanding leader with a strong record of supporting and developing colleagues.
  • Builds positive, trusting relationships with parents/carers, the Church, Governors and the wider community.
  • Is committed to their own professional development and holds high personal aspirations.
