HR & OD Advisor (Career Graded Post up to Grade 11) About the role We’re recruiting for an exciting 12month opportunity to join Bury Council’s HR & OD Team as a HR & OD Advisor, supporting the Children & Young People department through the transformational Families First Partnership Programme. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fastpaced environment and is keen to contribute to meaningful organisational change to help shape the future of services for Children's and families in Bury. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with the HR & OD Business Partner to deliver highquality, comprehensive and peoplecentred HR support throughout the change programme. You’ll act as a trusted first point of contact for managers and staff, offering professional guidance on a wide range of employment matters. Strong analytical skills (ideally with job evaluation experience) and project management experience will help you play a vital role in supporting the rapidly improving department through the next chapter of a fundamental transformation. About you: This is a great opportunity to broaden your experience, contribute to impactful change, and work within a supportive HR team. The role offers a combination of working remotely from home and from the Town Hall or other Council buildings when required, with an average of two days a week working directly with your team and customers. Normal hours of work are 37 hours per week based around the usual business working week. Actual working pattern is negotiable.
