Grade 2, NJC Salary Points 4 6, £25,185 to £25,989 pa [full time equivalent salary]

36 hours 40 minutes per week, Monday to Friday, actual pro rata salary £22,673 to £24,139 pa

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Administrator to join our academy team, providing essential support across a wide range of school operations. This varied role involves delivering high-quality administrative and clerical support, maintaining data systems, supporting communication with parents and stakeholders, and contributing to the smooth day-to-day running of the academy. The successful candidate will also play a key role in student support, school events, transitions (including Year 7 and in-year transfers), and Summer School, while delivering excellent customer service to visitors, staff, and pupils. Flexibility, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team are essential.

We are looking for candidates who:

  • Have excellent administrative, organisation, customer service and ICT skills, including MS Office and databases
  • Have a positive, flexible and proactive approach to work
  • Work well within a team
  • Would like to work in a busy but rewarding environment
  • Experience of maintaining a website and social media for professional purposes will be advantageous as we seek to further develop our use of social media to improve communication with our families and stakeholders.
