In this pivotal role, you will work closely with students, families, and staff to remove barriers, build trust, and ensure every learner has the opportunity to succeed. You’ll monitor attendance data, follow up swiftly on concerns, and develop positive relationships that encourage students to be in school, every day, ready to learn. With your proactive approach, strong communication skills, and passion for making a difference, you’ll play a crucial part in driving improved outcomes for our students. Key responsibilities: Monitor, track, and analyse student attendance data to identify patterns and concerns. Make prompt contact with families to challenge absence, offer support, and encourage strong attendance.
Work closely with pastoral staff, teachers, and external agencies to address barriers to attendance.
Build positive, respectful relationships with students and families to encourage engagement and accountability.
Pay range: SCP 7-11 - £25,008.49 - £26,655.64 - FTE: £26,403.00 - £28,142.00 - 37 hours per week, 42 weeks per year - Permanent
Knowledge of attendance systems
Ability to work effectively within a team environment
Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with pupils and parents/carers
Ability to analyse and evaluate data to identify trends and issues
