We are seeking an inspiring, ambitious and values-driven Deputy Headteacher to support the new headteacher in helping to shape the future of our school and make a lasting impact on the lives of our children.

Ashbury Meadow Primary School is a vibrant, forward-thinking school within a very supportive community.

We are embarking on a new stage of school improvement and have committed staff who want to develop in order to provide the best educational experiences for every child, and we are looking for a Deputy Headteacher who can support the school to achieve this.


The successful candidate will be a highly effective practitioner and leader with a proven track record of securing outstanding outcomes for all pupils.
 
You will be passionate about teaching and learning, committed to inclusion and equity, and motivated by the opportunity to influence strategic direction and school improvement.
 
We are looking for a Deputy Headteacher who:
 
  • has exceptional knowledge and understanding of high-quality teaching, learning and curriculum design
  • has a strong track record of securing excellent pupil outcomes
  • demonstrates strong leadership in a range of school responsibilities 
  • is able to use data and a range of information to support strategic planning
  • actively contributes to the professional growth and development of staff 
  • leads by example and has a track record of being able to exemplify and model high standards of teaching and learning
  • shows clear leadership ambition and enthusiasm for working in a dynamic learning environment
