This is a fixed term appointment for 12 months. About you You will have a passion for delivering an excellent customer service experience to everyone living and working in Salford. You will be keen to explore new ways to do things differently. You will use customer engagement skills to deliver the best outcomes for customers with both a digital mindset alongside meeting the needs of those that need more traditional support. You will be a creative thinker, a great listener, and enjoy helping and supporting our customers. You will demonstrate a positive attitude and embed the core Salford values. About the role You will provide face to face support for Customers within the Locality. With appropriate support and training be able to identify appropriate pathways for residents ensuring they are better off in Salford by providing information and advice to customers in line with an integrated place based approach. With appropriate support and training be able to undertake relevant financial transactions. With appropriate support and training be able to to promote, educate and support customers to access services in line with the customer strategy, delivering a digital first approach, providing a first response to digital enquiries. You will demonstrate a desire to deliver an excellent customer service experience to all customers in Salford. Please be aware that this post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and that you will be required to meet the cost of the DBS check currently £21.50 . The payment for this will be deducted from your first four months’ salary payments at a rate of £5.38 per month. If you do not commence employment for any reason but the DBS has been processed, you will be sent an invoice for the payment of £21.50 Want to know more about Salford?
