This is an exciting opportunity to become a Early Help Consultant within our newly established Family Help Service. This role is an essential part of ensuring both the service and partnership are supported, to provide support to children and families at the earliest opportunity. The role will require you to work directly with partners to support early help practice and approaches across the partnership. The work also includes delivery of workforce training and development across Family Help and the wider partnership. As part of our ongoing commitment to practice improvement, the Early Help Consultant will also support quality assurance activity to support practice improvement across the wider Early Help system.
The role will offer responsive, flexible and tailored support and will require close working with partners to ensure the offer of early support for Children and Families is offered consistently and at the earliest opportunity. You will build strong relationships with partners to facilitate and encourage the use of early help approaches and assessment. You will work as part of a team to support the partnership and work across the Family Help locality-based teams.

About You
You will be focussed on relational practice and be able to quickly build relationships and rapport with colleagues both internal and external team and have experience building effective relationships across diverse partners.
You will bring a strong understanding and experience of Early Help, safeguarding and multi agency working, with the confidence to offer consultation, coaching and constructive challenge.
You will be skilled in analysing need, developing and delivering tailored training and influencing practice.
You will be able communicate clearly, draw on your experience of complex casework, and support others to strengthen early intervention and improve outcomes for children and families.
