We Join us at Stockport Council MJ Local Authority of the Year 2025 The Role The role is responsible for reviewing and quality-assuring Pathway Plans for Stockport care leavers, ensuring full statutory compliance and consistently promoting About You A qualified and SWEregistered social worker with strong experience in Leaving Care and Children in Our Care, skilled in multiagency collaboration and confident chairing complex meetings. Communicates clearly in both written and verbal forms and has experience developing and implementing practice initiatives. Able to build trusting relationships with careexperienced young people and apply current research and innovation relating to care leavers. Demonstrates strong understanding of quality assurance frameworks and their role in improving practice. Highly competent in assessing and managing risk, including safeguarding concerns and the psychological needs of vulnerable young people.
