Working Hours: 12.5 hours per week Term time only

Base: Christ Church C of E Primary School - Ainsworth

Grade: NJC Grade 5 SCP4 £7,342.86 actual salary (FTE £25,184.93)

Contract: Permanent

We are looking for an Out of School Club Playworker to join one of our successful primary schools. If you are ready to learn fast and get involved in the out of school provision for primary aged children we want to hear from you!

What you will do:

  • Play a pivotal role in ensuring the supervision of, and smooth running of sessions for, children attending of the school’s Out of School provision
  • Ensure the safety, welfare and good conduct of children attended the provision.

What you will bring:

  • Relevant experience of working with and caring for primary aged children
  • Experience of helping to deliver play activities for a range of children
  • Knowledge of policies and procedures relevant to the role including Food Hygiene, Health and Safety and Safeguarding
  • Experience in a busy, fast-paced team (school experience is a bonus but not a must!).

An enhanced DBS disclosure will be required, and all checks will be undertaken, to ensure you are safe to work with children as per KCSIE guidelines.
