The successful HLTA candidate will be:

A nurturing and relational practitioner who builds strong, respectful relationships with primary-aged children, their families, and colleagues across the school
An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills, able to collaborate closely with class teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure consistency and the best possible outcomes for pupils
Confident and experienced in supporting teaching and learning across the primary age range, with a good understanding of the national curriculum and how children learn at different stages
Energetic, adaptable, and creative in delivering engaging lessons and activities during PPA cover, maintaining high expectations for behaviour and learning
Committed to supporting the academic, social, emotional, and physical development of all pupils, recognising and responding to individual needs.
A team player who contributes positively to the wider school community and works effectively with staff to support planning, assessment, and classroom routines
Aligned with our vision of being ‘an exceptional school for everyone’ and committed to upholding and modelling our school’s core values
