We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team on a fixed-term basis, linked to funding for children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). A key focus of the role will be providing targeted, one-to-one support for children with additional needs within the classroom and in small group settings, helping them to access learning and overcome barriers to education.
You will work under the direction of the class teacher and SENDCo to support children with a range of needs, playing a vital role in supporting their academic progress, emotional wellbeing, and social development, helping them feel safe, regulated, and ready to succeed.
The successful applicant needs to be an effective team member, have lots of energy and be flexible within their working day.
