Our children’s services team is leading the way with exciting developments to further improve the lives of children and families in Blackpool. As a result, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced practitioner to join us in delivering Early Help services across the town. We are looking for candidates who are experts in engaging families and other agencies; experienced in holding a case load of families, and delivering evidence-based programmes is vital. The successful candidate will work closely with our Family Hubs and partners to roll out the lead professional role, supporting the partnership to offer the right support at the right time for our families in line with the Early Help Strategy:
• To offer quality assurance of early help work, delivering training and learning circles for front line practitioners and offering support and challenge to the partnership. You will be expected to build strong relationships and to bring your own experience of assess, plan, do, review to model best practice.

• A degree in a relevant subject
• A background in case management with a proven ability to work creatively with families
• Excellent communication skills and a tenacious approach to working alongside partner agencies.
• The ability to model high quality practice and embrace our Blackpool Families Rock approach
• To be a reflective practitioner who embraces and promotes strengths based work.
• An excellent working knowledge of child development
