Join us at Stockport Council MJ Local Authority of the Year 2025 Your Role We are looking to recruit a permanent part time Business Support Assistant to provide reception and administrative support across our Garners Lane Family Hub on Wednesday PM, Thursday and Friday. Family Hubs bring together a range of services to support children, young people and families. Our Business Support Assistants play a vital role in delivering this support by acting as the first point of contact for families who visit or contact our Hubs; and by carrying out a range of administrative tasks to support frontline colleagues in the work they do. About You A commitment to providing a high standard of customer service with previous experience of dealing with customers, strong organisational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to prioritise your own workload and work to tight deadlines. You should be computer literate and be confident in working with standard office IT applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook. You will be expected to learn how to navigate in-house ICT systems to work with data and information; and use other applications to support services delivered virtually. You will work as part of the Stockport Family Business Support Hub and will therefore have the ability to build effective working relationships.
