The Governing Body is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Teaching Assistant Level 3 to join the hardworking and caring staff at Whittaker Moss Primary School.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have recent experience of covering a class in the absence of teachers.
  • Have extensive knowledge of EYFS and the curriculum.
  • Extensive knowledge of Phonics.
  • Have excellent Literacy and Numeracy skills.
  • Be able to model standard English.
  • Have high expectations of pupil’s achievement.
  • Be a team player.
  • Be driven by the needs of children.
  • Have the ability to work in partnership with pupils, and Governors and communicate effectively with staff.
  • Be creative in devising activities for all abilities.
  • Lead intervention groups and keep records of progress.

There also may be elements of personal care required
