Working Hours: 35 Hours Per Week Manchester City Council have a fantastic opportunity for a customer facing Pest Control Technician to join our growing team, working around the Manchester area. You will be at the sharp end of our service for commercial, residential, and council properties. You will be visiting our customers across your area to make inspections and carry out treatments, as well as promoting additional work if the opportunity arises. Experience within the field of pest control is essential, but you will also be provided with an excellent training program for continual professional development. No two days are the same. You will be a practical problem solver with a keen eye for detail, capable of assessing situations quickly and applying the most effective treatment solutions. A self‑motivated approach is essential, as you will often work independently, managing your own workload and priorities across a busy and varied schedule. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, enabling them to clearly explain technical information and provide reassurance and advice to customers. You will also be comfortable using technology to complete job reports, update systems, and maintain accurate records.
