Ref: 001549 The Trustees are looking to recruit to the post of Pastoral Lead New Bridge College (Key Stage 5), Oldham Town Centre NJC SCP 26 - 28 - £37,280.00 - £39,152.00 per annum Commencing: 1st September 2026 / in-line with notice requirements Part of the New Bridge Multi Academy Trust, New Bridge College provides a post-16 learning space and hub for Key Stage 5 students, based at a campus in the centre of Oldham. A fantastic opportunity has arisen and the Trustees are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Pastoral Lead to join our dynamic, growing and committed staff team. The successful candidate will collate and assess the pastoral outcomes for all allocated young people. With an overarching responsibility for safeguarding, causes for concerns, interventions and behaviour data, the candidate will manage the day-to-day pastoral input for young people, whilst ensuring that every effort is being made to guide those young people towards their desired pastoral outcomes. Further to their role within the school setting, the successful candidate will represent the group’s views at multi agency meetings, always putting the young persons’ best interests at the front and centre of every conversation and action plan. This is a challenging but rewarding role, which plays a vital part in the holistic development of many young people. The successful candidate will be supporting the work of teachers and other school staff, helping New Bridge Pathways provide the very best offer that we can provide. For this post, we would be especially interested in applicants with a good level of experience of supporting children or young people with Autism or Special Educational Needs within the primary or secondary sector. The successful candidate will: Although based initially at the New Bridge College site, all staff are employed by the MAT and are expected to work at any site within the New Bridge Group.
