We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Science Technician to join our fantastic team at Chorlton High School. Main purpose of the job: To work collaboratively with teaching and associate staff to support students in becoming creative, happy, and successful learners. Under the direction of senior staff, the postholder will provide technical support within the Science Department, including the preparation, maintenance, and safe use of resources and equipment, making a positive contribution to the effective delivery of the curriculum and the wider work of the school. Key responsibilities will include: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Technician to join our creative team on a part-time basis. Working under the direction of teaching and senior staff, the successful candidate will provide high-quality technical support to the department, helping to create an inspiring, safe, and well-resourced learning environment for our students. This role plays a key part in supporting students to become creative, confident, and successful learners, while contributing positively to the wider life and ethos of the school.
Working hours: Part Time
Qualifications Required: Possess an NVQ2 or equivalent qualification or experience in the relevant discipline.

Salary: £25,583 - £25,989 per annum
