The Head Teacher and Governing Body are keen to appoint an enthusiastic, dedicated and hardworking Site Manager who will be responsible for the management of the premises and school site.

We are looking for someone who can play a vital role in the daily running of our school, who takes great pride in their work, pays attention to detail, has lots of common sense and wants to provide a safe, well-maintained environment for all our children and staff to work in.

We are seeking a professional individual who:
Has good working knowledge of facility management

Is hard working, flexible and proactive and will keep our school site safe and promote good housekeeping
Can use their own initiative and work independently
Has practical maintenance and DIY skills
Has good understanding or willing to undertake training in Health and Safety procedures as they relate to school premises, Fire Safety Law and COSHH regulations
Has the ability to carry out effective risk assessments
Has excellent communication and organisational skills
Is able to liaise with external contractors and organise schedules of work

Has the ability to manage day to day cleaning staff.

Candidates will ideally have experience of working in a maintenance role, preferably in a similar environment.
