TEACHING ASSISTANT LEVEL 2 - KS1/KS2 x 2
Fixed Term from 1 September 2026 to 31 August 2027
NJC Band 3, SCP 6-11 (£25,989 to £28,142)
Full time, 36.25 hours per week for a 39 week working year (Term Time plus 5 Inset days) Monday to Friday 8:00am - 3:25pm

Applications are invited for the post of Teaching Assistant Level 2 at Bowdon Church School, Grange Road, Bowdon, Cheshire WA14 3EX.

The Governors of Bowdon Church School wish to appoint a highly motivated Teaching Assistant to join our hard-working, lively and successful team.

We would welcome applications from candidates who:
Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience of working with &/or caring for children, within specified age range/learning need and/or NVQ2 or equivalent in teaching assistance.
Have experience in supporting a child with autism, physical needs, dyslexia,
ADHD, etc.
Have experience of teaching groups of children, with high expectations of all.
Have a caring nature and are willing to promote the Christian Values of the school.
Are willing to support all aspects of school life.
