Salary: Grade 3, £17,584 per annum. £13.48 per hour

28.75 hours per week, term time working 38 + 1 weeks per year

Temporary until 1^st September 2027

Required for Monday 2^nd November

The Governors of this wonderful school are seeking to appoint a hardworking, flexible and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team. You will be required to work for 28.75 hours over 5 days per week term time plus one week, to work with children who have ECHP’s and provide lunchtime cover.

The Successful Candidate:

Be enthusiastic, caring, self-motivated and hard working.

Be organised

Have experience of working in a Primary School

Be able to positively contribute to the team ethos of the school.

Be able to support, phonics, reading, writing and numeracy.

Have good communication skills and be able to relate well to pupils, staff and parents.

Be able to use own initiative.

Understand how children learn.

Have high standards and expectations in all areas of school life and will be committed to a teamwork approach.

Be sensitive and understanding of pupils with additional needs, embracing the inclusive ethos of the school whilst helping to develop strong parent partnerships.

Be a reflective practitioner who can monitor children’s progress and modify activities/play accordingly to support child development.
