The Governors and Headteacher of Chorley New Road Primary Academy are seeking to appoint an exceptional

Experienced Key Stage 2 Teacher to join our thriving school community from October 2026 or sooner if possible.

The Role

We are seeking a passionate, enthusiastic and highly motivated Key Stage 2 Teacher who shares our belief that every child can achieve highly.
The successful candidate will deliver high-quality teaching and learning, inspire curiosity and ambition, and help children develop the knowledge, skills and character needed to thrive in an ever-changing world.
This role would suit an experienced teacher who is looking to further develop their expertise, contribute to a high-performing team and work in a school where professional learning is genuinely valued.

Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the diverse needs of all learners.
Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Collaborate with colleagues, parents and carers to support pupil development.
Contribute to the wider life of the school and extracurricular opportunities.
