Teaching Assistant level 2 + SNA

Salary grade D £26,847 - £29,071 FTE per annum

SEN allowance £1,590 FTE

27.5 hours per week, term time plus 1 week

Fixed term to 31^st August 27. May become permanent for right candidate.

The Governors are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant level 2 with SEN. The post holder will be required to work across the school (Nursery-KS2). The position is fixed term, which for the right candidate may become permanent.

The Children, Staff and Governors would welcome applications from candidates who have:

• Excellent literacy and numeracy skills minimum GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths
• Experience and or qualifications within the area of SEND is essential.
• Team teach is desirable.
• Confidence in implementing strategies to support the child’s behaviour, learning and development
• The ability to work as part of a team
• Be hard working and able to use your own initiative
• The ability to enable all children, as individuals, to thrive in your care
• A knowledge of assessing pupils with SEND.
• Able to set clear boundaries and have experience of a range of behaviour management strategies to promote positive attitudes to learning
