Grade 5, NJC Salary Points 18 23, £32,578 to £35,570 pa [full-time equivalent salary]

36 hours 40 minutes per week, Monday to Friday, actual pro rata salary £28,184 to £31,748

We are seeking an enthusiastic, committed and resilient Link Intervention Lead to join our team and provide targeted support to students with challenging behaviour and/or additional needs within The Link, our onsite alternative provision unit.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning, develop confidence and resilience, and achieve their potential. You will work closely with the Link Manager, teaching staff and wider school team to deliver high-quality learning and personalised interventions that support students' academic, social and emotional development.

We are looking for candidates who:

  • Has experience of working with young people, particularly those with challenging behaviour and/or additional needs.
  • Builds positive, trusting relationships and promotes high expectations, inclusion, achievement and independence.
  • Is calm, patient and resilient, with the ability to respond effectively to challenging situations.
  • Can plan, deliver and evaluate targeted interventions and adapt support to individual needs.
  • Works effectively as part of a team and communicates professionally with students, colleagues, parents/carers and other professionals.
  • Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of all students.
