About this Role We are seeking a highly organised, professional and caring individual to join Edgar Wood Academy as an Admin Assistant Medical & First Aid. Working 37 hours per week, term-time plus four weeks, you will play a key role in supporting the health, wellbeing and safety of our students, staff and visitors, whilst contributing to the efficient day-to-day running of the school office. This varied and rewarding role combines medical and first aid administration with wider school office responsibilities. You will act as a designated first aider, support the administration of medication, maintain accurate medical and welfare records, coordinate first aid provision across the academy and ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures. You will also provide administrative support to the wider school, welcome visitors and serve as a professional first point of contact for parents, students and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will have excellent organisational and communication skills, the ability to manage confidential information with discretion and the confidence to remain calm and professional in busy or emergency situations. Whether working independently or as part of a team, you will demonstrate a positive and proactive approach and a commitment to delivering excellent service.
