Site Officer

We are looking for a Site Officer to join our vibrant team at our SEND school and Pupil Referral Unit (PRU).

This is an exciting opportunity for a hardworking, reliable and proactive individual to play a key role in maintaining a safe, secure and welcoming environment for our pupils, staff and visitors. The successful candidate will take pride in ensuring that our school site and facilities are well maintained, secure and fit for purpose, helping to support the learning and development of our young people.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

• Ensure the security of the school buildings and grounds.
• Carry out routine maintenance, repairs and site inspections.
• Manage contractors and oversee site-related works.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain the cleanliness, safety and appearance of the school site.
• Support the school with setting up rooms and facilities for events and activities.
• Respond promptly to maintenance issues and emergencies as required.

• Has practical maintenance and site management experience.
• Is able to work independently and use their initiative.
• Has a strong understanding of health and safety requirements.
• Is organised, reliable and takes pride in their work.
• Can build positive working relationships with staff, pupils, contractors and visitors.
• Is committed to supporting the ethos and values of the school and Trust.
