Gaskell Primary is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated EYFS Teacher to join our wonderfully supportive team starting in January 2027. We know that the early years are the most crucial in a child’s educational journey, and we are looking for a practitioner who brings creativity, warmth, and high expectations to our youngest learners.

About the Role

As our new EYFS Teacher, you will lead a dynamic classroom where curiosity is celebrated and learning happens through exploration. You will:

Design and deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences tailored to the EYFS framework.

Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating indoor and outdoor learning environment.

Observe, assess, and track children’s progress, using insights to plan their next steps.

Build strong, positive partnerships with parents and carers to support each child's development.

The Governors of Gaskell Community Primary School would like to appoint an outstanding Classroom Practitioner to teach in our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are warmly welcomed to apply.

The successful candidate will be:

An excellent Classroom Practitioner who is committed to raising standards and providing purposeful and exciting learning opportunities for our children.

Experienced and passionate about teaching within the Early Years Foundation Stage.

Creative and independent in their teaching.

Able to demonstrate how their teaching skills have led to learners making at least good progress.

Enthusiastic and committed to working as part of our friendly, highly motivated staff team.

A fantastic team player with a good sense of fun.
