The Opportunity

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a motivated and forward-thinking leader to join GMPF as our Data and Management Information Manager within the Developments & Technologies Section. This key role will lead GMPF’s approach to information strategy, reporting and data insight, helping the Fund make better-informed decisions, improve services and deliver positive outcomes for our members, employers and stakeholders.

As Data and Management Information Manager, you will:

  • Lead GMPF’s information strategy: Develop and manage the Fund’s management information strategy, by ensuring reporting, dashboards and data outputs support business plans, strategic aims and current and future service needs.
  • Turn data into actionable insight: Oversee reporting systems that transform raw data into clear, reliable and meaningful intelligence, enabling colleagues, managers and stakeholders to analyse performance, identify trends and make evidence-based decisions.
  • Manage and develop a specialist team: Lead and coach a team of analysts, by setting clear objectives, supporting development, and creating a positive, open and innovative culture focused on high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Strengthen data quality and governance: Establish procedures that provide confidence in the consistency, accuracy and reliability of statistics and management information, while ensuring compliance with data protection, IT security and other relevant policies.
  • Drive improvement and modernisation: Identify opportunities to optimise processes, automate reporting, improve data handling and support transformational change across GMPF.
  • Collaborate across the service: Work closely with teams across GMPF, senior managers, partners and suppliers to ensure data, reporting and insight are aligned with wider objectives and used to support service improvement.
  • Support projects, change and risk management: Lead projects within the section, maintain clear documentation, manage risks and audit actions, and ensure changes are communicated effectively and embedded successfully.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who can combine leadership, analytical thinking and a strong understanding of data and reporting to shape how GMPF uses information. You will play a central role in helping us plan for future demand, identify improvement opportunities and continue to deliver high standards of service.
