In this role, you will play a vital part in providing highquality personal and intimate care, ensuring that each learner’s dignity, comfort, and wellbeing are central to everything you do. You will work alongside a supportive staff team, contributing to a caring environment where our learners feel safe, respected, and encouraged.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing daily intimate and personal care, ensuring dignity, comfort, and respect at all times.
  • Supporting pupils with their personal hygiene routines, offering encouragement and promoting independence wherever possible.
  • Acting as a responsible adult, assisting with the supervision, safety, wellbeing, and personal care of individuals or small groups under the guidance of teaching or senior staff.
  • Provide classroom cover as a Teaching Assistant when required, supporting learners, preparing resources, and contributing to a positive, productive learning environment.
  • Demonstrating a strong commitment to safeguarding and to promoting the welfare of children and young people with SEND.
