Working Hours: 35 hours per week Contract Type: 1 x Permanent Full-Time, 1 x 12 Months Temporary Full-Time Additional Payments: Casual Car User Allowance This role is subject to - 2 References - where possible we require 3 years' history. Casual Car Documentation - The successful candidate will be a designated Casual Car User which means that car journeys may be necessary on an occasional basis, but are not essential to the role. If you do drive, you must always hold a full valid driving licence and provide your own car for use at work, as well as provide all the appropriate documentation. You will receive an allowance per mile of business use. The role includes working with providers on a daily basis, through escalation and difficult periods of time, whilst also developing the market to meet the ongoing challenges of adult social care. Managing a team of staff, undertaking provider meeting, promoting the team’s achievements, whilst developing how the team works, the tools it uses and its relationships with the market. The role has a high profile across the city and attending senior meetings will also be part of the role. Shadowing how the performance and quality improvement officers undertake audit work for regular ongoing development, regular supervision, continuous workforce development as part of the team’s growth is included. A good communicator, listening skills and report writing will be part of daily working, a good understanding of the challenges of adult social care across the sectors, will be a key requirement to fulfilling the role. The role holder will support and cover for other Quality Assurance Managers as and when required to ensure coverage and continuity. A team player, good communicator, report writer are key attributes to the role. Experience of managing a team of staff, who work out in the community for the majority of the time would be an advantage. An ambassador for adult social care The Performance and Quality improvement Team is a busy working environment. Officers are out visiting providers across the city on a daily basis, following up on actions, undertaking audits, supporting safeguarding’s, dealing with complaints and report writing are just a few of the key tasks, the main aim of the team is to continue to develop and make improvements in social care provision at all times. The team uses a number of tools to support its work, including bespoke auditing tools, the collection of KPI’s, understanding data, speaking to citizens and staff in care the care sector are all things that happen across the city on a regular basis.
