ADVERT - EARLY YEARS EDUCATOR LEVEL 6 Permanent Early Years Educator Level 6 to lead 2 year old room 37 hours per week TTO + 5 Inset Days Grade F SCP 17- 23 / £32,046 - £35,570 pro rata The Orchards Nursery School is looking for an enthusiastic, nurturing and highly skilled Level 6 Early Years Educator to lead our 2-year-old provision. This room has 15 children per session with a team of 3 staff. Are you an experienced Early Years professional who is passionate about giving our youngest children the very best start in life? This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional practitioner to take responsibility for the day-to-day leadership of our 2-year-old room, creating a warm, stimulating and language-rich environment where every child feels safe, valued and ready to learn. As Room Lead, you will work closely with the Nursery leadership team to ensure that children receive high-quality care and education that meets their individual needs. You will lead and support a team of Early Years practitioners, model excellent practice and ensure that the provision reflects the principles of the EYFS. We are looking for someone who: Holds a Level 6 Early Years qualification or equivalent. As Room Lead, you will: Lead the day-to-day organisation and provision within the 2-year-old room. Actual Salary £27,441 - £30,458
Has substantial (at least 2 years) experience working with children aged 23 years.
Has a strong understanding of the EYFS and child development.
Is passionate about communication, language and early learning.
Can lead, motivate and develop a team effectively.
Has high expectations for children's learning, development and behaviour.
Can use observation and assessment effectively to identify children's next steps.
Is committed to creating an inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
Builds positive and trusting relationships with children, parents and colleagues.

Ensure assessment is used effectively to identify children's starting points, progress and next steps.
Work closely with parents and carers to develop strong partnerships.
Ensure the room operates in line with safeguarding, health and safety and EYFS requirements.
Contribute to the wider development of the Nursery and its improvement priorities.
