Pastoral Manager - Elms Bank School

Are you a passionate and experienced pastoral professional looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people?

We are seeking an exceptional Pastoral Manager to lead and coordinate our pastoral provision, ensuring the highest standards of attendance, behaviour, safeguarding and student wellbeing across the school and college.

This is a rewarding opportunity for a proactive and resilient individual who can build strong relationships with students, families and external agencies, whilst leading a dedicated pastoral team. You will play a key role in developing effective interventions, supporting vulnerable students, promoting positive behaviour and improving attendance outcomes.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have significant experience in a pastoral, safeguarding, attendance or behaviour role.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Be confident analysing data to identify trends and drive improvements.
  • Build positive partnerships with families and external agencies.
  • Have a sound knowledge of safeguarding, child protection and attendance procedures.
  • Be committed to promoting inclusion, wellbeing and positive outcomes for all students.
