Salary: Grade 4 SCP 7-11£23,667 - £25,226 (£27,724 - £29,071 FTE)

Term of Contract: Permanent

Working pattern: Term time + 5 days

Hours per week: 37 hours per week

Start date: As soon as possible

Mount St Joseph is currently seeking an Attendance Support Officer. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Trust at the beginning of a journey of transition, development, and growth within the multi-academy trust.

The role is responsible for providing administrative and reception support, managing student attendance records, monitoring absences and lateness, and liaising with parents/guardians and relevant professionals to improve attendance. Duties include contacting families, coordinating attendance meetings and home visits, issuing correspondence and warning letters, preparing attendance reports, maintaining accurate records on school systems, and supporting pastoral staff in identifying and addressing attendance concerns.

The role requires carrying out home visits; therefore, the successful candidate must have access to a vehicle and hold valid business use insurance.
