Salary: Grade 4, £22,049 - £23,119 per annum. £13.69 - £14.36 per hour

37 hours per week, term time working 38 weeks per year

Douglas Valley Nursery School is an Outstanding school which specialises in early education for children aged two to four years. We pride ourselves on providing our children with a safe, calm, happy and stimulating environment and support our children as they learn and grow helping them to become independent and confident learners.

Douglas Valley Nursery School has a wonderful learning environment that includes large outdoor gardens and a small nature school area.

We are looking for someone who will work closely with the teachers and senior staff to manage the classroom, the planning and the children’s assessments for our Learning to Learn room which specialises in provision for our SEND children. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for the next step in their career and want to be responsible for the lead practitioner role in our SEND base. The room has a maximum capacity of approximately 10 children in the morning and afternoon. The children can have a range of needs including physical disabilities, ASD, communication and delayed development. the successful candidate will have some experience of working with special educational needs and disabilities and families who require extra support.

This position is term time only so is an amazing opportunity for someone who wants to benefit from this. The working hours are between 8.15am- 4.15pm (37 hours per week) so also provides a great work life balance.
